One person was killed and four others were injured in a car accident in Beverly Hills. According to a Canyon News report, the fatal accident occurred early morning on June 6, 2016 at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard. LAPD officials said investigators are looking into whether one of the drivers was intoxicated or ran a red light at the intersection. Paramedics transported four people including three men and one woman to area hospitals.
KTLA reported that witnesses saw one vehicle run the red light and broadside an SUV at the intersection. One witness said the driver of the sedan was going at a high rate of speed. There were no skid marks on the roadway indicating that the driver attempted to stop. Officials don’t believe street racing was a factor. The investigation is ongoing.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families that were affected by this crash. We wish the injured the very best for a speedy and complete recovery.

Justice for Victims
In car crashes where negligence or wrongdoing is a factor, families of deceased victims can file a wrongful death claim seeking compensation for medical expenses, funeral costs, lost future income and loss of love and companionship. Injured victims can also seek compensation for their significant losses. An experienced Los Angeles personal injury lawyer will be able to stay abreast of the official investigation and help ensure that victims’ legal rights and best interests are protected.
